AEO services

Make your expertise
easier to answer with.

Answer engine optimisation starts with the questions your customers actually ask. We turn scattered information into direct, useful explanations across your website.

Clear scope.
Considered delivery.

A practical service scope

From the first question
to the next step.

01 / Question mapping

Find the real questions.

Use your customer conversations, service information and available search evidence to map questions across the buying journey.

02 / Answer design

Be clear and complete.

Create concise answers supported by context, definitions, examples and visible FAQs where they help the reader.

03 / Structure & consistency

Make meaning easier to follow.

Review page hierarchy, internal connections and appropriate existing structured data so information stays coherent.

A clear brief.
No blurred boundaries.

AEO complements SEO. It is not a separate submission system or a guarantee of featured answers, voice responses or AI inclusion.

The service in detail

Answer engine optimisation for questions that influence buying decisions.

AEO focuses on whether a visitor can get a direct, accurate answer from your content. We use the term for question research and answer design within a broader search strategy, rather than treating it as a separate route around SEO.

What the agreed scope can include

  • A question map drawn from sales conversations, service documentation and available search evidence.
  • Answer-led page briefs covering definitions, comparisons, requirements and practical buying questions.
  • Edited answers supported by useful context, sources where needed and links to the relevant service or deeper explanation.

How the work moves

A process you can follow.

01

Gather real questions

Start with what buyers ask before and after contacting you. Separate questions that belong on a service page from those that deserve a detailed article or support resource.

02

Answer with enough context

Put the direct explanation near the question, then add the conditions, example or limitation needed to make it accurate. Avoid a short answer that becomes misleading when read alone.

03

Review accessibility and accuracy

Keep important information in readable page text. Check headings, links and existing structured data against the visible content, then set an owner for future updates.

Illustrative question / what is included?

What that looks like in practice.

A buyer asking whether website design includes copy needs a concrete scope answer. “It depends” is unhelpful on its own. A useful answer explains whether writing is offered, what changes the quote and where to discuss the required pages.

Illustrative approach, not a client case study or a claim of results.

How we review value

Measure the right things.

Track relevant search queries and landing-page behaviour where available. For sampled answer experiences, record the query, platform, date and linked source. One favourable response is an observation, not a stable ranking.

Frequently asked questions

Useful answers.
Before you decide.

How is AEO different from SEO and GEO?

SEO covers broader organic discovery. AEO concentrates on answering specific questions clearly. GEO looks at representation and sources in generative search. The work overlaps and should share one coherent content plan.

Does adding FAQs guarantee an AI recommendation?

No. FAQs can make a page more useful, but platforms decide which sources to retrieve or cite. Accuracy, relevance, crawlability and evidence matter beyond the presence of a question section.

Do all questions belong in an FAQ section?

No. Important scope and service information belongs in the main page too. FAQs are useful for remaining questions; they should not hide the information a buyer needs first.

Will FAQ schema create a Google rich result?

Google has retired its FAQ rich result feature. We prioritise visible, helpful answers and review structured data for accuracy rather than selling FAQ markup as a placement mechanism.

How do you choose questions?

We use your customer conversations, existing enquiries, service details and available search evidence. Questions are selected for usefulness and relevance rather than repeating keyword variations.

Can existing pages be improved without starting again?

Yes. We can identify unclear explanations, missing conditions and weak links, then improve the existing page. A new URL is only useful when it serves a distinct reader need.
